No one gets out alive. Neither is this merely the title of a horror story nor a line from a burglary gone wrong. It is one of life’s facts.

We can easily become prisoners to activities that steal our time, leaving our real work undone.

Ever had one of those days when you start off raring to go with a clear plan and taking stock at the end of the day, you discover you accomplished nothing? You’d kicked off with your first task then thought to check your social media, respond to emails, make that phone call or catch up with a colleague. Somehow and some place along the line, not intending to, you got trapped in someone else’s agenda.

Some of us do not only have days like that, we have entire lives!

Although we can’t undo time, we can disentangle ourselves. We can summon up our original plan. We can craft a fresh blueprint. We can leap towards our prime purpose.

You always have options.

Rarely is it too late to either recover your day or reclaim your life. Knowing our stories have the one and only ending, the plot can be freer with fewer regrets. May we make the most of our days. May we live well and fully.
